Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. I research American political institutions and teach courses on American Politics.

My research focuses primarily on legislative and executive branch institutions in the U.S. context. I am interested in questions concerning legislative agenda setting, party strategy in Congress, institutional development, and interbranch relations in the policy-making process. My work is published in journals such as The Journal of Politics, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Political Behavior, and the Journal of Theoretical Politics.

I earned my Ph.D. from UNC Chapel Hill in 2021.
